The Cubans know how to pack a punch in their mojitos. I’m packing a punch with spinach, mint and lime in my virgin spinach mojito smoothie. Sugar has been replaced by a green juicy granny smith apple. This piques the flavour of the lime and adds sweetness to balance the taste.
Virgin Spinach Mojito Smoothie
Ingredients
- 4 ice blocks and 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 tbls almond butter
- 4 -5 spinach leaves
- 1 stick celery
- 1 granny smith apple skin on seeds removed
- 1/2 lime juice
- 5 mint leaves
Instructions
- Get all your ingredients ready
- add 4 ice blocks and 1 cup of almond milk, 4 -5 spinach leaves, 4 -5 spinach leaves, 1 stick celery, 1 granny smith apple skin on seeds removed, 1/2 lime juice, 5 mint leaves to a high speed blender
- Blend on slow speed and gradually increase the speed to desired smoothy-ness. Get your large glass ready
- Add extra mint and lime to garnish if you like
