A quick recipe of Drambuie Whipped Butter to add to my Clootie Dumpling or any Christmas cake of pudding for that matter.

Drambuie, my Granny Nan’s favourite liqueur

Drambuie whipped butter

Ingredients

  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • Zest of half lemon
  • 20 ml Drambuie

Instructions

  • Whip butter until pale and creamy. Add the sugar and zest and Drambuie and beat until light and fluffy.
    50 g unsalted butter, 50 g brown sugar, Zest of half lemon, 20 ml Drambuie
  • Pile onto a serving plate and keep in the fridge until it’s all ready to serve. Take out about 20 minutes before serving to make it easier to spread.
